LVL Energy Fund PLC was established in June 2006 as a strategic subsidiary of Lanka Ventures PLC. The Company was founded with a singular vision: to become a regional leader in energy investments. Our core purpose is to drive the development of high-potential power projects through equity and quasi-equity investments, bridging the gap between capital and sustainable energy development in Sri Lanka and beyond.
Our journey has been defined by disciplined growth and strategic expansion. Following several successful rounds of capital mobilization and project development, the Company achieved a key milestone by listing on the Colombo Stock Exchange. In 2018, we adopted our current identity as LVL Energy Fund PLC, reflecting our maturity as an institution and our continued commitment to transparency, governance, and long-term value creation for our stakeholders.
Today, we manage a balanced portfolio of renewable and thermal power assets, comprising 16 power generation projects across Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. With a combined installed capacity of 268 MW, our investments contribute to strengthening regional energy security while supporting the transition toward reliable and sustainable power generation.
